This was the cake for the March of Dimes Teddy Bear Den Baby Shower. It features fondant animals- an elephant, teddy bear and hippo. Top layer was Butter Pecan with Whipped Caramel filling and the bottom layer was strawberries and cream. It was a great event and I was proud to be asked to participate.

The March of Dimes Teddy Bear Den Program (TBD) gives low income women incentives (in the form of diapers, wipes, new baby clothes, etc.) to participate in pre- and post-natal care and to avoid high risk behaviors during pregnancy, resulting in fewer infants with life threatening birth defects.

Come enjoy food, games, fun, prizes, and the company of some fun women as we collect baby items and donations for this wonderful charity. Feel free to bring along friends, relatives and kiddos.

This cake was so much fun to do! I loved the colors, the whimsy and the ‘modern’ look of the apple green. It fit the decor perfectly (and was probably the best decorated reception I’ve seen in a while). Fun cake for a modern wedding!

This is a popular cake I’ve done many times. Dense chocolate cake with chocolate chips and chocolate buttercream filling topped with ganache and chocolate curls…. almost enough chocolate for me!

This cake was for a fashionista’s 21st birthday. Spice cake with cream cheese frosting on the inside- fondant decor.

I planned an open house for a friend.  It was a second marriage for both the bride and the groom and the open house was an afterthought after running to Vegas to elope.  She let me choose the food, the colors the cake… it was quite fun for me.

I also did all the food. The open house was quite long so we started with lighter foods and ended with more ‘dinner’ foods. The biggest hit of the night was the peanutbutter sandwich cookies.

Only the freshest apples are dipped in homemade caramel and then dipped in premium chocolate before being rolled in toppings can make an apple taste so sinfully delicious. Apples can be purchased for individual gifts at $6.00 each or 4 for $19.99 in a caramel apple gift box. Festive gift plates are also available. This Converse Shoe cake was for an avid collector for her 13th birthday. The 3D shoes were sculpted from cake and then decorated with fondant. $75 serves 12. Can be placed on top of larger cake for more servings.

This cake was for a missionary on his way to Italy for two years.

A perfect cake for a late summer wedding.

I don’t know when 30 was over the hill- but this man’s wife wanted to give him a hard time.

Poor David had a steep fall from the top of the hill and narrowly missed his freshly dug grave.  He’s reached ‘The End’.

I love the texture in this.

This cake was made for a man who is a rocker at heart and a Guitar Hero Pro. Made to match his favorite ’skin’ for his guitar this cake was a hit!

These cookies are a real treat. A light, buttery cookie with a hint of either lime, orange or lemon with white chocolate chips. White chocolate Lime is our most popular flavor.

These cookies are a great holiday treat! Chocolate cookie with semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips, dipped in chocolate and then crushed peppermint.

This cake is for true fans of chocolate. Six layers of divine chocolate cake frosted with rich chocolate butter cream and then topped with dark chocolate ganache and chocolate curls. This cake serves approximately 35 people.

These brownies are a hit at informal picnics as well as weddings. A dark chocolate, chewy brownie sits on a crunchy and peanutty crust and is topped off with a fudgy peanut butter top. It doesn’t get better then this for Peanut Butter Chocolate lovers!

This was a fun cake to make and after scrutinizing many a picture of the famous sponge and hearing my kids sing, “Sponge Bob Square Cake” for hours his likeness in cake was ready.
